Just a couple cute pictures of our sweet boy.(Look at his poor little rash around his mouth. He is having an allergic reaction to something, but we can't figure it out. If you have any ideas of what it could be let me know.)

uh jess, that aint no rash, thats the beginings of a beard. your baby is growing a beard.
Okay, he's ONLY allowed to wear tuxes from now on. All the time. Tux or naked: those are hip options.
He's alergic to not wearing tuxes - I'm sure that's it.

i bet it's the dish soap. it mixes with the plastic of his sippy cup and makes for the bumpiness and what not.
or it's a beard.
how pist would Rynan be if Jones grew a full beard before he did.... ouch. that's gonna hit him where it counts (where the sun don't shine, i mean)

Rash could be a couple of things...if he is still cutting teeth & drooling a lot (like excess spittle in the corners of his mouth) then that is probably it. Keep a cornstartch powder on his chin for a few days to keep it dry.
The second thing it could be is an actual yeast growth, also caused from being excessivly wet right there. Lotrimin cream will cure it if it's yeast. (Very common in kids, even IN the mouth, check for white patches). Another culprit could be the fruit. Jackie couldnt tolerate high acid fruit (oranges, pineapple, strawberries) until she was about 4. If his underarm, back of the knees, or groin breaks out the same, it's a food allergy thing. Get rid of the high acid fruits first, if it doesnt clear, get rid of nuts.
Process of elimination. Jackie didnt have an allergy to the fuit, just the acid content would break her out.
Soaps & detergents are unlikely as they arent in constant contact with his chin. If it was all over his body, I would suspect soap.
In the meantime for relief, keep it DRY & use a little (not enough to hurt him) diaper cream or gold bond on it.

I forgot to add tomatos to the list.....tomatos were a BIG culprit in the fruit acid thing. This meant pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, or anything tomato based!
