The thing I love most about Soccer are the "SID" Kicks. "Sudden Instant Death" Kicks. You know the ones, the game is tied, goes into over time and then onto the kickout. Really, they are fabulous. They're exciting, suspensful, and all the players stand in a little line and hug each other. Sweet.

Um . . . I hate to break this to you, but they don't have those anymore. They have overtime and a series of penalty kicks. Much more lame than SIDs

They do SID kicks when after the 5 PK's they are still tied. You people act like you all learned about soccer from an American.... it hurts... bad.
What I think you are all missing is that Jessica has equated the penalty kicks, or the sudden death kicks that follow the first five, with a common cause of infant death. Thats what makes it so funny. Think about it, dead baby...penalty kicks...come on! thats funny...I mean, that was funny. Now it's just redundant.
