My favorite house

The house that I live in is perfect. Well, maybe not perfect, it doesn't have a yard or a place for a dining room table, but we love it. It is right on little Main Street in down town Vancouver. It is walking distance to about 5 different parks. There is an adorable court yard outback with a creek and waterfall that my son loves to play in. We have lived here for two years and everything in our house has it's place. Did I mention we love it here? Bad news. The people that run this apartment are terribly unorganized and horrible at their jobs. Because of this and their hate for us (it is a long story, but the managers hate us because they hate the earth and hate that we want to get recycling. And now we are trying to change city laws to make them get recycling....long stroy, but they are punks.), the bastards are raising our rent $150 a month. Now we can no longer live here...we have to move.

It is a sad sad time for me. I have been looking and looking, everyday checking craigslist and other apartment finding resources, but have still found nothing. Nothing that is either a.)safe enough for our family to live in or b.) a price we can pay. So I guess we wont live anywhere. I guess our babies will live on the street. It is ok, they need to learn to grow up sometime. I guess now is their chance. Crap.

That's so sad! We moved out of our three bedroom apartment for that same reason. I am so sorry. I'll be praying for a great place in a great place...

Oklahoma sure is cheap....you could buy a mansion, probably. Think about it.

I'm pretty sure that Tara is high. If you move to Oklahoma, we're over.
We'll find you guys a place. A good place. with a yard and a fence and an oak tree and bedrooms and very low rent.
we'll find one.
promise.

That is what sucks about renting. I hope you find the perfect new home for your family!

A pox upon them.

I hope a place arrives soon. Maybe you can order one from a catalog.

i know what it is like to have to move out of a place that you love . . . crap.

i'm sorry.

but i guess you're right. maybe jones can start selling "street roots" and india can give people homemade tattoos on the street corner to make some money while you live on the streets.

but seriously: i heart you.

Hey girl, and family. How are ya'll. Aside from the impending homelessness. I can relate. But, you already know that.

We were down this weekend for Keegan's birthday. Hopefully we'll be down in a few weeks again. I had wanted to come and visit our Renovatus fam...but about an hour or two too many of Rock Band Saturday night gave me a great excuse not to. =(

We're waiting on 'orders' from the good 'ol Coast Guard (yes, again). We'll either be back in Portland (hopefully for 4 years this time---and Brandon will be ON LAND!!!) or on the East Coast. One or the other. Ha ha.

Glad you 'found us'.

Your family is Gorgeous. Really...just beautiful. I can't even believe what a bog boy Jones is. Time flies.

Love to you all!!!

I'm sure Jones is not a bog boy. Although I'm sure he could be if he really set his mind to it.

Jones is a BIG boy. =)

You can just live in our garage, it's very pre-fame. All you need is an electric guitar and Jones' singing. Our retired neighbors can sell baked good at your shows. Just a thought :)

But hey - no more talk of moving to Oklahoma - Tara and Eric - you guys are supposed to move here! Hey, maybe you should get a house together! lol

Jess, i have to admit i just want you guys to stay at your lil apartment forever. Oh well, praying for the home God will provide for you in your next adventure.

we need to talk.

see, my best friend and his fiance who i'm terribly fond of recently-ish started coming to your small group. it seems india has cast some sort of spell that has caused them to transfer their adoration of my girl onto yours. now, i have no problem with india being perfection personified...i was thrilled to learn that she started rolling over when she was a mere 15 minutes old. i've heard from several reliable sources that india is a genius, and i'm cool with that.

but these particular people need to keep the bulk of their babylove focused on kaia. they are, after all, the only "family" she's got nearby. i'm sure you'll understand. so, if you could just gently suggest to india that she act a little more normal when thry're around and help kaia out a little, i'd appreciate it. it wasn't easy for her to hear them going on and on about another baby this weekend. not that she said anything about it, she's much too polite. i'm just guessing based on the increase of drool.

having said that. it's high time for us to get together. i'm proposing next tuesday. does that work for you?

and is this the longest comment of all time? sorry about that. except not entirely sorry. i'm actually slightly pleased with myself.

hey B-- I'll have a little chat with India. We're pretty tight these days and I think I might have more of an influence on those Woods kids than their parents do.

I'll see what I can do.
I know just the outfit that she can wear every Thursday night.
