My poor husband...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask if you could be praying for our family. With baby #2 coming and me being so sick, Ryan is carrying a big load. He is not only doing everything for the house on his own, but also working at Outback, with Renovatus, and taking on pretty much being a single parent (as well as taking care of my many needs and puking). We are already feeling the strain of this possibly long process…

Please pray that Ryan can have peace, energy, good rest, and emotional reserve.

Pray that I can feel better and can be the helper my husband is needing so badly.

Pray that sweet Jonesy can better adjust to the changes in our house and routine.

Thank you so much. I really value all of our blogmunity.

Things will get better soon. I love you guys, and will pray for you all the day. Lola wants you to kiss Jones for him.

I'm not sure how exactly I stumbled across your blog..hope you don't mind. =)

I had horrible morning sickness w/ my first pregnancy...HORRIBLE. Like threw up several times a day for 5 months straight horrible. So I can definately feel your pain. Except..atleast when I had it..I didn't have another child to care for. God spared me & gave me no morning sickness w/ my #2. Hope it gets better soon...and prayers are definately going out for your hubby...and for you...things will look up soon!

I'm so sorry, Jess. I'm sad for you and I wish I could help, too! It will be really sad if I end up moving close by at the end of this semester and you still need help but I definately will help if it actually happens...

Praying for you.

I really wish I'd been able to see you and your great and growing little family more while I was in town, but family stuff kept me pretty busy.

BTW - the upside to Jones being exposed to your vomiting: Jones will always feel comforted by the sound of wretching.

i'm pullin for you Ry.... so long as you don't ever dress Jones in the turtleneck onesie and sweatpants ever again. That is unforgivable.

Beat you to it--I was already praying for that stuff before you asked. But I'll step it up for you. I really hope you start to feel better (and everything gets easier) soon!

Thanks for all the prayers guys.

Anna, Nice to meet you. Thanks for the kind words.

Ty, Jones is very comfortable with all body sounds. Thanks to his dad being his primary care-giver these days, he can now make burping and farting noises on command. Thanks to my example he now makes puking noises and demonstrates what it looks like when done in a toilet or bowl. Little Boys.

The G and I are praying for you.

We woud love to either (1) take Jones off your hand for a bit in the evenings, or (2) watch Jones at your place and let you relax/sleep/barf at our place. :)

Hey Jessica--This is Cheryl Cash in Uganda. I can't remember how I found your blog, but I stop in from time to time.
I am so sorry for your sickness. I also get very ill with my pregnancies. I am praying for you and Ryan and Jones.
Bless you as you struggle through this time...

Puke machine made me laugh ... in a very sympathetic, tender and caring way.

Hope you are feeling better soon! It's tough caring for a little guy while your head is, well, not in the clouds.

Take care.
